Welcome to AxiomBase. By accessing or using our website, services, and software, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms and any posted guidelines or rules applicable to specific features.

2. Description of Service

AxiomBase is a local-first document rendering tool. It converts Markdown and structured content into polished PDF, Word, LaTeX, and Typst documents using maintained templates. Typesetting runs locally in your browser; optional account features (template library, semantic trees, review links) are provided through our hosted infrastructure.

3. User Accounts & Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate, complete, and current registration information.
• You are responsible for safeguarding the authentication methods (OAuth or one-time code) you use to access the service.
• You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
• You may not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, and you must not violate any laws in your jurisdiction while using it.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to the documents, text, and materials you create or upload. By saving or publishing content to our infrastructure, you grant us a license to host, store, and display that content solely to provide the service to you.

Our Property: The service and its original content, features, functionality, and software design are and will remain the exclusive property of AxiomBase and its licensors.

5. Payment and Refunds

If you purchase a paid subscription or a lifetime license, you agree to pay the fees shown during checkout (processed securely via Stripe). Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as specified in the refund policy presented at checkout.

6. Lifetime License Terms

A Lifetime license is a personal license for the current AxiomBase personal document workflow. It includes Markdown editing, local PDF and Word export, the official template library, Word template import and style inheritance, and future personal Pro updates within the same document workflow.

• Lifetime licenses are for individual use and may not be resold, shared, sublicensed, transferred in bulk, or used as a volume licensing substitute.
• Lifetime licenses do not include Team Workspace, bulk API usage, cloud automation, AI credits, custom template services, Enterprise SSO, volume licensing, or other enterprise features.
• Major new product lines or materially different paid modules may be sold separately, even if offered under the AxiomBase brand.
• Refunds for Lifetime purchases follow the policy stated at checkout. We do not provide a separate refund commitment outside those terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall AxiomBase, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the service.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Content stored only in your browser remains yours.
